Iona has hired Virginia Tech assistant Billi Godsey as its new women's basketball coach. The Metro Atlantic Atheltic Conference school in New Rochelle, N.Y., will introduce her at a news conference today. Godsey was on Dennis Wolff's staff at Tech the past two seasons. Former Hokie Fran Recchia rejoins coaching staff at Radford
Radford University's new coach, Mike McGuire, announced Friday he has hired former Virginia Tech guard Fran Recchia as an assistant. Recchia spent the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons at Radford as an assistant to former coach Tajama Ngongba. Recchia spent last season as an assistant at NCAA Division II member Tusculum, where former Radford assistant Katrina Williams is the head coach.
